Having been born into a family where literally everyone was involved in education —across different fields and levels— developing a passion for teaching and pedagogy felt almost inevitable. Simple inertia, really 😊
This section is a heartfelt tribute to some of those inspiring role models whom I’ve spent a lifetime trying to resemble… without ever quite succeeding 👨🎓
Don Severo (my grandfather: rural teacher, school principal, and later National Education Inspector),
Nonna Cota (my grandmother: primary and secondary school teacher who later became a school principal),
Olga (my wonderful mother: piano and music teacher at every level imaginable),
Alba (my aunt: school principal, university professor, and multimedia educator among many other teaching roles),
…and the rest of the family, whose full list would become endlessly long 🙂
To all of you: my ongoing commitment to improving myself is, in many ways, an attempt to grow a little closer to your example.
